Charlene Wittstock is the ex-South-African swimmer that got engaged to Prince Albert II of Monaco on 22 June 2010.
Charlene Wittstock represented South Africa at the 2000 Olympic games in Sydney, where she competed in the women's 4x100m medley.
Albert met Wittstock in 2000 when she was visiting Monaco for a swimming competition, and the couple made their official debut at the opening ceremonies of the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin, Italy.
