East-London (South Africa) model and top Grens High School matriculant Zilke Goosen is living proof that beauty and brains can go together.
The 18–year–old Goosen, a straight A pupil, sailed through with distinctions for Afrikaans, English, home economics, business economics, biology and mathematics.
Zilke is the daughter of East London GP Dr Marius Goosen, and mom Rene, who owns the Vincent Art Gallery.
Junior Model of the Year for 2004, coming second in the 2005 Model of the Year competition and being voted the Diva Studio Face for the past three years are just some of this brainy beauty's achievements.
She has also done international work for a top–flight modelling agency, Ford (and remains on their books) and she has appeared on Russian magazine covers.
